The Karmakar Foundation believes in closely collaborating with our grantee organisations and institutions leads to better results. Working together allows us to better understand local contexts, the organisation’s capabilities, as well as the issues impacting the students they work with. We use this engagement to help us define and continually refine our strategic priorities, as well as set appropriate objectives and provide the necessary support to build Foundation Scholars. It is important for us to reach an agreement with our grantees on what success looks like in their communities, allowing us to better tailor an appropriate investment.
